“Minds Matter”, a motto Mary lives and practices by. Life does not slow down, so it is important that we all tend to our minds and take care of ourselves holistically. We have one mind for our entire lives, so it is important that it is a nice place to be.
Mary is a recent graduate of Indiana University South Bend where she completed her Master's of Science in Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with a temp Mental Health Counselor Associate license. The past three years of experience have been full of crisis intervention, working with at-risk youth, group and individual counseling, and trauma-informed mental health care.
Mary has found that she specializes with trauma, grief, addictions, and life transitions with older teens and young adults, and enjoys allowing the client to lead while honing on interventions specific to each individual. With a person-centered, holistic approach, the intention is to provide a safe, comfortable environment in which clients may leave feeling more relieved than when they arrived.
