Paula Williams, LCSW
Paula has been a Clinical Social Worker for over 20 years. She has received both her Bachelors and her Master’s degrees from Indiana University and Purdue University at Indianapolis. She is committed to supporting individuals as they learn and grow. She is a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner. Somatic Experiencing (SE) therapy is a powerful method for resolving trauma symptoms and relieving chronic stress. Developed by Dr Peter Levine, SE results from his multidisciplinary study of stress physiology, psychology, ethology, biology, neuroscience, indigenous healing practices, and medical biophysics and decades of successful clinical application. Paula recognizes each individual may benefit from a unique approach based on their particular situation and style. Her focus of care has been on trauma healing, stress management, grief resolution, and supporting clients as they cope with chronic health concerns and move to improved well-being. Karissa Morelock, LCSW
Karissa is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience working with children, youth, families, and adults. Karissa received her Bachelor of Social Work degree from Taylor University in Upland, IN and her Master of Social Work degree from State University of New York at Buffalo. Karissa enjoys working with individuals and families to elicit the change necessary to live more fulfilled lives. She has experience treating a multitude of diagnoses and issues including but not limited to depression, anxiety, conduct disorder, physical abuse, sexual abuse, various other traumas, domestic violence, family conflict, marital conflicts, anger issues and extreme behavioral issues. Karissa utilizes traditional therapy approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems approach, and other eclectic approaches depending on the treatment need. Brittany Katz, MA, LMHC
Brittany is a graduate of Ball State University with a Masters in Clinical Psychology and a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling working towards her licensure in Clinical Mental Health. She has worked with adults and adolescents struggling with depression, anxiety, attention and motivation, and self-improvement. She has also worked with clients on conflict resolution techniques, communication skills, and building self-esteem. She believes in an interpersonal approach, styling each therapy session to the individual using research-based techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Therapy, and Solutions Focused Therapy. Chelsey Luke, MS, LMHC
"When you come see me for therapy, my hope is that you feel a sense of safety and trust, that this space between us is sacred. Chelsey Luke, MS, LMHC, received her BA in psychology from Bethel (College) in 2012 and has been working in the field of mental health since this time. She then graduated from IUSB with her MS in Counseling and Human Services with a focus in mental health counseling in 2018. She has had numerous experiences working with complex trauma in individual, family, couples and group therapy. Chelsey also has experience working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, eating disorders, and ADHD. Chelsey has been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TFCBT) to better serve individuals who are struggling to manage emotional problems and/or traumatic events. Alexis Tatel, LCSW
Alexis is a licensed clinical social worker who holds a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago (Mental Health concentration). She also holds a Bachelor's degree from University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign where she studied Community Health, Health Education, with a special interest in Gerontology. From a young age, Alexis has strived to make a difference in the lives of others. After she graduated from college, Alexis worked in various roles in the health care and private sectors. During that time, Alexis was always striving to find a career where she could help others. Eventually, she came to the conclusion that becoming a Social Worker would be the perfect fit. In her professional social work career, Alexis has worked as a case manager serving older adults and their families/caregivers. She has also worked as a home and community based behavior consultant with the goal of helping her clients to live their best lives. Alexis provides a safe, welcoming space for her clients. She will meet individuals wherever they are in their personal journey. Alexis values the power of human connection, especially when it comes to a therapeutic relationship. She welcomes you to her practice with an open mind and open heart. Sabrina Esper, LMHC
Sabrina is a licensed counselor, wife and parent of many foster children, offering a proven history of effective, evidenced-based therapeutic care. Sabrina has eight years of clinical experience, working to serve the needs of individuals in various settings, including private practice, community outpatient services, home based services, and school settings. Sabrina values serving children children and adolescents. She is passionate about supporting and encouraging children as they journey through challenging situations, developmental changes, experiencing family conflict, and life's unexpected struggles. Sabrina graduated from Indiana University in 2013 with an M.S. in Counseling and an Ed.S. in Counseling with a specialization in child and adolescent development.. Sabrina also graduated from St Joseph's College in 2011 with a B.S. in Psychology and a B.A. in Creative Writing. Sabrina is a fully Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). Sabrina utilizes a combination of evidence-based CBT, positive psychology, narrative therapy, and motivational interviewing to promote and help clients sustain valuable change. Ami Fair, LMHC-A, ATR
Ami Fair is a dedicated and compassionate professional in the field of art therapy. She graduated in 2018 with a master's degree in art therapy from St. Mary-of-the-Woods College in Terre Haute, IN. Since her graduation, she has been actively involved in the field, utilizing her skills and knowledge to help those in need. Ami is a licensed mental health counselor associate (LMHC-A), currently working towards her full LMHC. She holds an ATR (Registered Art Therapist) credential, a testament to her expertise and commitment to the profession. She is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a psychotherapy treatment designed to alleviate the distress associated with traumatic memories, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Brittany Price, LCSW
Brittany Price is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience working with children, youth, and families. Brittany received her bachelor degree and Master of Social Work degree from Indiana University South Bend. Brittany has experience working with posttraumatic stress disorder, depression, anxiety, difficulty managing emotions, anger and behavior management, borderline personality disorder, and LGBTQIA+ issues. She also has specialized training and experience working with youth with sexually harmful behaviors. Brittany currently works with children, youth, families, and young adults. Rachel Bukowski, LCSW
Rachel is a licensed clinical social worker. She is a graduate of Indiana University and holds both a Bachelor's and master's in social work. She is also certified in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Rachel feels it is important to take a client-centered, strengths-based approach with clients, in order to help them feel empowered and motivated to work toward positive changes and achieve their goals. She values providing clients with a safe and comfortable environment, and building rapport is a key step in this process. A native of South Bend, Rachel has been practicing clinically in the Michiana area since 2018. She has a background in community mental health care, and experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Courtney Kauchak, MSW, LCSW
Courtney is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker receiving her bachelor’s degree from Indiana University Bloomington and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Walden University. With over 10 years in the field, she has worked with various populations and settings including child and adolescent residential treatment, outpatient adult addictions group and individual therapy, and as a social worker in a hospital. She currently focuses on working with adult women age 18 and older to address women’s issues such as postpartum depression and anxiety, depression, anxiety, substance abuse and addiction issues, and difficulty managing emotions through use of cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing. Alejandro Corona Espinoza, PhD
Spanish-Speaking Alejandro works with men and women 18 years or older, and has a generalist training. He is open to working with individuals with a wide rang of diagnoses. He also has experience with, and feels passionate about discussing faith & spirituality with patients and working with Spanish-speaking individuals. Courtney Burdell, LMHCA
Courtney has several years of experience working with individuals toward greater mental well-being in a variety of settings. She received her Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Notre Dame and her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University, and is working toward independent licensure. Courtney takes a holistic and collaborative approach to counseling. She primarily utilizes the frameworks of Compassion-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Psychosynthesis, and employs techniques of mindfulness, somatic awareness, self-compassion, and other eclectic approaches. Courtney recognizes that every individual’s needs are unique, and works closely with each person to develop an approach that best suits their experience. Abbi Pollea, Intern
Pursuing an MA in progress toward LMHC Abbi is a mental health counselor in training, currently pursuing a MA in Counseling and Human Services from IUSB. Upon graduation, she will obtain her license to become a Mental Health Counselor Associate. Abbi has over twenty years of experience in the field of health and wellness and is a certified Pilates, Yoga, and dance instructor. Her passion to empower women of all ages, to do all things, inspired her to create and run the dance fitness studio Movement Made Beautiful, est. in 2017. Through various types of mind-body movement, Abbi is educated and trained to meet clients where they are at in an effort to help them accomplish and sustain their fitness goals. It is her intention to create a similar relationship with clients in a warm therapeutic setting using empathy, creativity, life experience, and education. Abbi is interested in counseling couples, families, those struggling with eating disorders, general anxiety, and individuals and families dealing with illness, both chronic and terminal. Life experience has influenced what she is drawn to and she is very passionate in helping these particular populations. She is also open to any clients in an effort to provide opportunity for inclusive therapy for all. Strengths include creativity, dependability, adaptability, drive, and a passion for wellness. It is her goal to work hard making a positive difference in the lives of others. With a belief in leading by example, working hard, and possessing a magical knack for finding realistic versions of big dreams, she loves to read, dance, visit New York City, take long walks with her dog, and try new endeavors. Theoretically, Abbi is aligned with, and continues to learn and apply, Psychoanalytic Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Existentialism to her practice. She truly believes that life is full of many wonderfully, undiscovered experiences and it is her desire to communicate this to clients in a way that unearths hope for a brighter future. *Abbi is a practicum student that is excited for the opportunity to take clients at Reflections. Please note that in an effort to ensure her ongoing education and success in becoming a LMHC, all sessions will be videotaped with the client being anonymous. A video and audio camera will capture Abbi, not the client, and will be used to further her progress in the MA program. Psychological Testing & Assessment
Reflections Counseling provides comprehensive psychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults. Our evaluations consider the individual, the family, and the community in the evaluation process and provide detailed treatment recommendations.
Psychological testing is a comprehensive evaluation procedure that measures and identifies important information about an individual’s current level of functioning, underlying cognitive or learning issues, strengths and weaknesses, and identifies risk factors. Testing can help you maximize your success in treatment by helping you understand the relationship between your emotions, behaviors, thoughts, and personality.
Services include:
The client then completes the testing battery, taking between 2-5 hours. Clients with longer testing batteries can complete this over the course of two days.
On the final session, the client and family receive the results and interpretation of the testing, as well as recommendations for treatment, referrals, and time to ask questions. Results include a written report of all findings, with explanations of the tests used and the results, a psychosocial history, a summary and diagnosis, and recommendations for treatment.
All information provided in the psychological testing is strictly confidential and subject to HIPAA.

- Intelligence Testing (IQ): A thorough evaluation of cognitive strengths and weaknesses, including assessing for developmental delays, intellectual giftedness, kindergarten readiness, language and communication skills, non-verbal reasoning skills, processing speed, and memory. Academic Achievement Testing/ Testing for Learning Disabilities: Educational achievement testing assesses skill levels in reading, mathematics, writing, and academic fluency, skills, and application. It provides information related to academic strengths and weaknesses and provides the basis for diagnosis learning disabilities. Results can be used to assist in educational planning, including recommendations for Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs) for Special Education and 504 plans.
- Testing for Attention Deficit Disorder (ADHD/ADD): A comprehensive battery of tests designed to accurately diagnose Attention Deficit disorders.
- Personality/Emotional Testing: A thorough evaluation of behavioral, emotional, and personality functioning. Provides the basis for diagnoses such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, and other mental health disorders. This type of testing is often used for diagnostic clarification.
- Neuropsychological screening: Neuropsychological screening includes testing in the areas of memory and attention as well as planning and organizational skills.
- Autism Spectrum Disorders: Provides comprehensive assessment of Autism Spectrum disorders, including Asperger’s disorder.
- Substance Abuse: Assists in diagnosis of substance abuse/dependence, risk of relapse, and treatment planning strategies.
