Karissa Morelock is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience working with children, youth, families, and adults. Karissa received her Bachelor of Social Work degree from Taylor University in Upland, IN and her Master of Social Work degree from State University of New York at Buffalo.
Karissa enjoys working with individuals and families to elicit the change necessary to live more fulfilled lives. She has experience treating a multitude of diagnoses and issues including but not limited to depression, anxiety, conduct disorder, physical abuse, sexual abuse, various other traumas, domestic violence, family conflict, marital conflicts, anger issues and extreme behavioral issues.
Karissa utilizes traditional therapy approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems approach, and other eclectic approaches depending on the treatment need. She also offers counseling from a Christian perspective upon request.
