My name is Grace Hilty. I am currently getting my Master of Science in Education focused on Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Indiana University South Bend and will graduate in the summer of 2023. As a therapist in training, I hope to provide people with a safe place where they can share their stories, process their traumas, and feel seen and cared for. I want to help my clients find hope and meaning within their experiences and empower them with the resources that allow them to find healing and growth.
As an Asian adoptee, I would love to specialize in helping adoptees, and their families better understand and process the impact adoption may have. I have a heart for social justice and healing and understand the importance of incorporating a multi-cultural approach within my counseling. My educational background includes a B.A. in Psychology from Bethel University. I have experience working with complex trauma, behavioral issues, and mental illnesses. I utilize a variety of counseling approaches, including CBT, Narrative, Existential, Gestalt, and Person-Centered Therapy. I have formal training in trauma-informed care and de-escalation interventions. Grace's supervisor is Chelsey Luke and can contact her at cluke@reflectionsmichiana.com or (574) 218-0566. |
