Amanda is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than a decade of experience specializing in individual, couples and family therapy.
Both a Boilermaker and a Hoosier, she earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from Purdue University and her Master of Social Work from Indiana University in South Bend. She has worked with adults, young children, adolescents, and their families both in a residential treatment setting and in their own homes, individualizing treatments based on each client's needs. Amanda, who has treated adults and children, utilizes several evidenced based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and considers herself an Eclectic therapist, which allows her to draw from multiple theories in order to better address the diverse issues facing her clients. She specializes in Anxiety, Depression, Anger Management, Women's Issues, Oppositional Defiance Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, and other trauma related issues.
